Pedro Passos Coelho, Prime Minister of Portugal and Leader of the Social Democratic Party, visited SMT’s Portuguese office in São João da Madeira as part of a delegation investigating innovation in the region’s technology district. The delegation also included the British Consul in Portugal.

Over the last decade SMT in Portugal have been continually developing cutting edge transmission systems for wind turbines for worldwide projects.
This development is essential to increasing efficiency of installations and value within the market.
