Smart Manufacturing Technology are pleased to announce their sponsorship of the MacG Racing team for their 2012 attack in the Britcar British Endurance GT Championship.
MacG Racing are a family run motorsport and engineering team, with over 15 years experience of running vehicles in various national level championships.
In 2011 the Team took its first dive into endurance GT racing, competing with the Ultima GTR in the Britcar British Endurance GT Championship.
In their debut year, the team finished 4th in class and 11th overall in the championship, which was an excellent result against some far more experienced teams.
The off season between 2011 and 2012 was spent developing the Ultima to achieve the car’s full potential, ready for another assault on the Britcar British Endurance GT Championship in 2012, as well as other selected GT race series should the opportunity arise.
